Just Poets is a poetry-centered non-profit (501c3) organization based in Rochester, NY. Our goal is to celebrate both poets and poetry by encouraging and supporting area poets at all levels of ability to improve their work and find their individual poetic voices. We seek to do this through workshops, publications, readings and networking within the literary community. Just Poets also seeks, as part of its mission, to increase the public’s awareness and appreciation of poetry through readings, a speakers bureau, written articles and other educational avenues.
Meetings are held the first Saturday of every month, usually in the COP Conference Room at the Campus Center St John Fisher College.
