Wheeler Hill Gathering Tomorrow

Open Reading on Wheeler Hill!
Saturday, November 10, 3 PM – ?

Come join us in the shell of our new house for an open reading and community gathering. We’ll have a couple of pots of homemade soup and some beverages available. Please feel free to bring along some food and beverage to add to the community table.

Supposed to be dry and about 50 degrees. Wwoodstove will be burning hard and it’ll be at least minimally comfortable inside. This will be a rustic experience. If you can bring along a chair, that would be helpful. We’ll have paper plates, cups etc., but feel free to bring along your own serviceware if you’d prefer. No sink yet, so clean-up afterwards not easy.

I would appreciate it if you could let me know if you plan to attend. We have plenty of space here, minimal interior furniture, but it would be helpful to know how many folks might attend in terms of food preparation.

Also, if you need directions, drop me an email or call me at 607-661-8777.

If anyone would like to stay the night, you are most certainly welcome. We could supply 30R cotton insulation batts for a sleeping surface (very comfortable) but you must bring your own blankets or sleeping bags.

This will be our first gathering in the new house that was only made possible by the amazing generosity of so many of you. We look forward to sharing the space for creativity and connectivity, sharing the space with the community of family, friends and poets.

With gratefulness,
Michael
